Hidden Hearts

I took this picture this summer and hadn't really paid attention to it until

today when I was searching for some form of inspiration. This is one of our

many pieces of yard art. I had a lot of fun with this in Photoshop, as I only

sharpened the heart itself.

Shattered Once Before

Her heart, her most precious treasure, was hard to reach. One had to travel

through the twists and turns of her internal maze to even get a glimpse of it.

She rarely opened up to anyone. Hidden from anyone and everyone in fear

that it might be shattered yet again.
