Moonlit Darkness
The night was dark and cool, its black fingers stretching into every crevice and corner of the earth, putting out lights and diminishing sound. Nearly all was silent and fearful. Without word, the moon rose above the clouds, puncturing the night, sending rays of moonlight to burn through the blackness.
