Ski Day Number One

I went skiing for the first time this season yesterday. Hooray! The pass

was surprisingly crowded. It seemed as though everyone was desperate for

time up at the mountain. We only did three runs as the lines were long and the

lighting was odd - no/little depth perception. It was fun for what it was. Looks

like this year is going to be a great ski season.

Slopes and Smiles

Fresh powder up at the summit. Chairlift lines are crowded with skiers

and boarders all longing for the feel of snow under their gear. The excited buzz

of the first ski day hangs in the air. Shaky movements as athletes get back into

the technique. Cruising down slopes with smiles.
