This picture isn't the greatest one, so sorry about that. When we

were visiting relatives, we were wandering around a nearby town and

happened upon an alley that led to some great houses off the street. There

were all kinds of things back there...gazebos, bird houses, statues...it

reminded me of the Secret Garden.

Stony Sentries

Two stone lions lay on pillars outside the library, their heads raised to

passersby, their stone tails curled around their large, grey paws. They sit

there, guarding the books inside the library, their unmoving eyes watching

all. As it gets dark, the tail of the left one flicks. He winks.
