Welcoming Wood

Beams of sunlight fall across the worn, old boards, warming the wood. Two

deck chairs sit there in the sun, unoccupied - just waiting for someone to come

sit down and relax. A black dog lies sprawled across the steps. Cold lemonade

waits on the table. The porch is inviting, calming.
