Missing Figure

Thursday, March 31, 2011
Another sandcastle shot. :) I really liked this castle, as I felt it had
a lot of depth to it. There's the mother and her daughter, then the cut
out of the missing figure behind them. I think it speaks to families that
have been separated.

Quote Of The Day:
"And ever has it been known that love knows not its own
depth until the hour of separation." ~ Khalil Gibran

50 Word Story:
I Wish you could Come Home
A single mom working extra hours to keep her child fed, clothed, and
in school. Life was so much easier before he died. Life was so much easier
before he'd boarded that plane. A shadow always there - a reminder of what
once was. Now just reduced to bittersweet, fading memories.
