Back At School

Today was my first day of school! It was a bit like coming home...that's what I love about the school that I go to. It's a great school...we always start off the school year with something called Convocation. At Convocation, they call every student and every faculty member by name, welcoming them back. I love my school.

First Day

Brand new pencils, paper, and crayons. Excited faces seeing friends long missed over the summer. Expectation and nervousness fills the air. The halls buzz. Meeting new teachers, looking over new classrooms, all in anticipation and eagerness. New desks, shiny and clean. The first day of school…something no one ever forgets.
