Going Nowhere

I took this picture last weekend when I went on a walk with my mom.

There's this one house by our library that always has kids' toys strewn across

the lawn. On this particular day, there were two tricycles and a play Jeep in

the yard, all going in different directions...made us laugh.

Nowhere is a Destination

Staring down the long road he'd chose, contemplating whether it was the

right decision or not. He sat on the bike, watching the others bustle off into

great futures. He took a deep breath, faced the road, and started pedaling.

Pedaling wherever the road to nowhere planned on taking him.
