Took this one this summer at a 4th of July parade. My very good friend

and her grandparents' dog, Kuper. Kuper is an absolute delight. The little dog

has boundless energy and just wants to be with you. He's hilarious.

Better Opportunities

The past was behind them. Not ignored, just recognized and put away.

The abuse, the hard times, the lack of money, of food, of shelter, of support.

It was all gone now and it...well, it mattered, but wasn't important. Their

faces turned into the rising sun. A better road. Better life.
