Old Letters

Thursday, September 2, 2010
A while ago, I went on a sculpture hike with my parents. There were many
neat sculptures and this was one of them - a giant mailbox. This hike was
the same one we saw This One Box on - it's back a few posts. I took a
particular liking to this mailbox as it was positively giant.

Quote Of The Day:
"After the writer's death, reading his journal is like receiving a
long letter." ~ Jean Cocteau

50 Word Story:
Mysterious Envelopes
A rusty old mailbox sitting on a decaying wooden post. The picture of
neglecting. Resident of the nearby house long dead. Each day, the
postman comes by and delivers a letter to the mailbox, not knowing no one
will receive them. What secrets do these letters hold? Forever a mystery.
