I Enjoy Socks: They Keep My Feet Warm
Socks galore! Striped socks, polka dotted socks, solid socks, dress socks.
Red socks, blue socks, yellow socks, orange socks. Baby socks and giant socks.
Woolen socks and cotton socks. Spinning round in the dryer - managing to
lose one of the pair. Mismatched socks, argyle socks, knee socks, fun rainbow
socks.
I can't believe I missed that on the bus... So hilarious....XD

Your teacher thinks: the curtains represent the depression and sadness of the character.
What the author meant: The curtains were dang blue.
